Katarina was born in Staaken on December 3rd, 1965. In her quest for new opportunities, Katarina Witt opens new fields of work and gains experience in different disciplines like producing and figure skating. Katarina Witt will end her amateur career at the World Championships in 1988. Within the next 3 years, she will be co-headlining in North America and Canada the first of her professional shows together with Brian Boitano, the Calgary Olympic Champion as well as the Calgary Olympic Champion World Champion. With her own production company, WITHWITT is the source of a variety of internationally ice-show productions she produces, develops and headlines.
