Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor'sworkshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. When she converted to Judaism and they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk is famous for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. The character she played Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its popularity on social media has earned it a large internet following.
